Bitcoin cleared $80,000 on Tuesday, trading at $80,658.21 and up 2.12% on the day, after spot BTC and ETH exchange-traded funds logged their strongest weekly inflow window in roughly ten months. The move is notable less for the round number than for what came with it. US equities were down the same session, and the rally is running alongside two live catalysts: a debt-crisis hedge narrative gaining traction among macro investors, and the CLARITY Act, the market-structure bill working through the Senate.
