Local / Embeds
Put a live local-economy chart on your site
Every chart on our 25 metro pages can be embedded for free. The chart updates on its own each time the agency releases a new figure, so a story about jobs in Boise or home prices in Tampa stays current after it is published. Each embed carries a one-line attribution and a link to the metro page, and that is the whole price.
How to use it
- Open the metro page (for example Boise) and find the chart you want.
- Click Embed this chart under it and copy one of the two snippets.
- Paste it into your CMS as HTML. The live version is an iframe; the static version is an image for sites that do not allow iframes.
Live chart (iframe)
Static image (SVG)
Same chart as an image. It also refreshes on each release because the image is generated on request, but it has no live link inside it, so the attribution line below the image carries the link.
Terms
- Free for any publication, newsletter, school or public body. Leave the attribution and the link in place.
- Do not alter the figures or present the chart as your own data. Quoting the number in your text with "according to MarketIntelLabs" is welcome.
- The figures are official statistics (Bureau of Labor Statistics, Census Bureau, FHFA, S&P Cotality Case-Shiller, Realtor.com) retrieved from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis FRED database. We compute the year-over-year changes; nothing is estimated.
- We count embed views by referring site so we know which newsrooms use them. We do not set cookies or run scripts inside the embed.
Want the numbers written up for your readers?
The same desk that maintains these pages can file a dated local-economy piece for your outlet on each release day. See Intelligence services or write to contact@marketintellabs.com.
